Electric diffusers.
Ultrasonic, nebulising or illuminated, our electric diffusers scent your home with a few drops of essential oil, without a flame and in silence.
Aromatherapy, a word coined in 1937.
In 1937, the Lyon chemist René-Maurice Gattefossé published a book entitled “Aromathérapie”. The word entered the language and has described the use of essential oils ever since.
He worked in the family perfume business, surrounded by lavender essences. Electric diffusers have simply made it easy to spread that fragrance through a room.
The ultrasonic diffuser, which also humidifies.
An ultrasonic diffuser vibrates a small plate under the water, millions of times per second. Water and oil turn into a fine, cool mist.
It scents and humidifies the air at the same time, a plus in winter when heating dries out the home. A few drops of oil are enough for a full tank.
The nebuliser, pure essential oil.
A nebuliser works without water. It sprays the essential oil as it is, in micro-droplets, without heat.
The scent is more intense and more faithful, because the oil is neither diluted nor heated. It suits large rooms and lovers of pure oils.
Illuminated diffusers for atmosphere.
Several of our models feature mood lighting you can change to suit your mood. Up to 7 colours on some, a starry sky projected onto the ceiling on others.
In the evening, soft light and scented mist create a relaxing corner in the bedroom or living room.
Wood-effect or design.
Our light or dark wood-effect diffusers blend into a natural decor, on a shelf or a bedside table.
The design models focus on clean lines, for a desk or a modern room.
How to use your diffuser.
Fill the tank with water up to the mark, then add 3 to 6 drops of essential oil. For a nebuliser, screw the oil bottle on directly.
Diffuse in sessions of 30 minutes to one hour, airing the room between sessions. Your diffuser’s timer takes care of it for you.
Caring for your diffuser.
Empty the tank after each use and wipe it dry. Once a week, clean the plate with a cotton bud dipped in white vinegar.
Use soft or filtered water to extend the life of the ultrasonic plate.
Good to know.
Essential oils are concentrated products. Diffusing them is not recommended near pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 6, people with asthma and pets, especially cats. Diffuse in a ventilated room, never continuously, and ask your pharmacist for advice if in doubt.
