How is your porcelain decorated?

Porcelain is usually decorated under the glaze with colored pigments such as cobalt and copper. These pigments are barely visible before firing. Fired once in a kiln at about 1,000 degrees with glaze. It is during the second firing at about 1300, that the handmade paint is revealed with its final blue color.
