Buddhist butter candlestick.

Magnificent Tibetan copper butter lamp in the shape of a Chalice or Grail. Traditionally, these candlesticks are placed on either side of a statue or representation of Buddha. It represents the light or the path to spiritual elevation.

These candleholders or oil lamps are normally used with yak butter. Unfortunately, yak butter is not very common in Europe, so we recommend that you use tealight style candles. You can find our candle collection by clicking HERE.

Tibetan Altar Chalice.

It is possible to use these Chalices in oil lamp by adding a floating wick (not supplied). We recommend using a small cork disk pierced in the center with a cotton wick that will float very easily on the surface of the oil.

Any edible oil can be used, but we recommend coconut oil which does not smoke or smell when burned.
